CHINA ENTERPRISES ASSOCIATION IN MALAYSIA CCCC CUP BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2018
The CCCC Basketball tournament for the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Malaysia was successfully organized in Kuala Lumpur in October 2018. The event was well participated by Mr. Shi Ziming, Counselor of the Chinese Business Office in Malaysia; Mr. Wang Nan, Director of the Chinese Embassy Office in Malaysia; Mr. Shen Junyan, as representitave of the President, the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Malaysia, and the heads of the participating teams attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
The ceremony was opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Mr. Ni, the Managing Director of CCCC Malaysia. He pointed out that in recent years, Chinese state-owned enterprises have achieved satisfactory milestone in Malaysia under the leadership of the Chinese Embassy, the Economic and Trade Office, and the Enterprise Association. Chinese state-owned enterprises will take this basketball tournament as an opportunity to adhere to the concept of “unity, mutual help, affectionate China, tenacious struggle, create brilliance” in Malaysia.
Mr. Shen Junyan, the representitave of the president of the Association of Chinese Enterprise Malaysia expressed that this basketball tournament will help enrich social life of the employees, promote mutual understanding, strengthen cooperation, networking and enhance the cohesiveness of Chinese state-owned enterprises in Malaysia.
Mr. Shi Ziming in her speech affirmed that in recent years, under the great leadership of the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Malaysia with full cooperation and dedication from CCCC, China Construction and China Railway and other large Chinese state-owned enterprises have managed to build up significant influences in the local market. She hopes that under the new political environment in Malaysia, all these enterprises will continue to be pro-active, innovative, forge ahead, and continue to contribute and promote the sustained and stable development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia.
The event was participated by a total of 12 teams; a team representing the Chinese Embassy and 11 other teams, representing members of the Association of Chinese Enterprises.
After twelve games of fierce competition over two days, four teams; “China Construction Nanyang ” emerged as the winner of the cup. “China Construction Malaysia ” and “China Railway Construction” emerged as 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up, respectively. Player no. 16 from “China Construction Nanyang ” was named the most valuable player of this event.
At the award ceremony, Sun Qianjin, deputy general manager of CCCC Malaysia presented trophies and prizes to the winning teams.
The Association of the Chinese Enterprises in Malaysian Basketball Tournament 2018 ended successfully in a united, formidable and relaxed atmosphere!
